Privacy

This site uses privacy-friendly analytics that we host on our own server, to understand which pages are useful. It records the page visited, the referring website (domain only), approximate country or region, browser, operating system, device type and time on page. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not store your IP address. Visits are counted with an anonymous identifier that rotates regularly. If your browser sends Do Not Track, your visit isn't counted.

We don't use third-party analytics or ad trackers, and we don't sell or share this data. Analytics data is kept on our own servers and backups.

Calculator: everything you enter—prices, dates, assumptions, and the comparison results—is processed in your browser. We do not upload your scenario to our servers or to analytics. The only server requests tied to your use are public data lookups on this site: the state you pick (or U.S.) when loading housing statistics, and a purchase year when loading mortgage-rate averages. Those calls send the state or year only, not your purchase price, rent, income, or other inputs. PDF export runs entirely in your browser.
